Hi Brandi,
My name is Julie, I am currently being treated for Lyme with Ceftraxone IV. I am really scared the last 25 days I had two good weeks of IV then suddenly I had a rash, fever joint pain. when this went away I was fine. Now I have swollen lymph node on my neck and behind my ear. I only have four days to go just thinking about quitting.
Hi Julie,
I would talk to your doctor about this. I had a similar reaction on IV after two weeks. I felt great the first two weeks and then my symptoms worsened at the end of week two. My doctor said that I was herxing but to skip one day if it got too bad. I still had to flush my line though. Ask your doctor just in case. I hope you start feeling better very soon. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Brandi did u second child get it thru birth or breast milk?
I have not had my second child tested as he has no symptoms and my doctor said that she wouldn’t treat unless he had symptoms. I am not 100% sure that I got Lyme while I was pregnant either. I will probably have him tested when he turns two, just to see if I passed it to him, but he is perfectly healthy now.
